Meet Shikha
For Shikha, yoga is not just movement; it is a living practice, a journey within. As a Yoga Therapist and founder of Sampurna Yoga, she guides people back to themselves, inviting presence, clarity, and ease into each moment.
Bringing together the timeless wisdom of Eastern yogic traditions with the evidence-based study of Western yoga therapy, Shikha meets people where they are, welcoming all bodies, abilities, and life experiences.
She supports individuals navigating stress, tension, chronic pain, and life transitions. Her sessions are therapeutic and contemplative, blending restorative movement, mindful breath, somatic practices, and reflective inquiry to nurture vitality, balance, and inner resilience.

TESTIMONIALS
Shared Experiences
“I attend Shikha's "Gentle Yoga" class on Saturday mornings. It is never the same class twice as Shikha draws on her tremendous experience and knowledge to tailor every session to the unique needs of the students in front of her. What remains constant is her love, her light, her intuition, her humor, and her gentle reminders to attend to our experience of the moment. The space Shikha creates is always profound and always sacred.”

“I've been a regular attendee of Shikha’s Saturday gentle Yoga and Meditation for the past two years, and it's become an important part of my mental, physical, and spiritual health. The class is so accommodating — she always checks in with how we are doing physically and makes modifications for injuries or individual needs in each class. The real mystery and genius of Shikha’s teaching is that I never feel like I'm struggling or straining, yet through the practice she guides, I find myself becoming ever more strong and secure in my body. If you're looking for a space to nourish you in mind, body, and spirit, I highly recommend this class.”

“It is such an inspiration to know Shikha and be witness and the recipient of her care. She is the kind of person that any sincere student of Yoga should sit with. She is patient and generous. Her wisdom comes from a deep knowing and the way she shares is always matched to the recipient.
Not only have I had the pleasure to learn from Shikha, but also be transformed through knowing her. In particular, in 2025 I had been on again off again suffering from kidneys stones. Over a period of about 48 hours, Shikha sent me support in the form of Reiki, and assigned visualization and mantra to safely and comfortably pass the stones. I will always be grateful for her.
It is with deep bows of respect that I recommend working with Shikha.”

“From the moment I met Shikha, I knew there was something special about her. Grounded and humble, she freely shared wisdom that seems to be accumulated over many lifetimes. The expanse of her knowledge covers an amazing range: Reiki, yoga, ayurveda, and more. An experienced yogi myself who met her in a certification program, I found myself learning from her each and every time she spoke and shared her voice. She has the gift of a healer, the presence of a compassionate friend, and the trustworthiness of a teacher who genuinely wants the best for you. I am forever grateful to have Shikha in my life.”

“ If you need the gentle stretching and mindful work offered by an experienced, knowledgeable teacher, the gentle yoga class offered at the north hills branch on Saturday mornings by Shika Pasria is exactly what you are looking for. Shika focuses on mindful breath and healing yourself through meditation. I am an older woman who is enjoying the experience she is offering. Shika urges you to listen to your body, not her voice! You don't need to be an athlete to benefit enormously from this class.”

I came across one of Shikha’s yoga and meditation classes when I was going through a very challenging time in my life. Her welcoming, playful and life affirming classes were exactly what I needed at that time. Shikha’s classes are so much than your traditional yoga classes. I appreciate how she helps you connect with your body through breathing and movement. Every movement is very intentional, and she guides you to go inward to really experience your body and breathing…and at other times reminds you of and guides you to experience your existence in the world around you. Her classes feel like a celebration of yourself, the world and all life around you, encouraging you to let go of your inhibitions. After most classes, I have left feeling a light calm buzz and release.

That (the absolute reality) is whole.
This (the manifest world) is whole.
From wholeness, wholeness arises.
Even when wholeness is taken from wholeness,
what remains is still whole.
