The Heart Behind Sampurna

For Shikha, yoga is a living practice, a journey of returning to oneself. She remains a student of yoga, rooted in the understanding that we are continually learning and evolving. Her path unfolds through self-inquiry, where awareness becomes the foundation for understanding the body, mind, and energy.

As a C-IAYT Certified Yoga Therapist and founder of Sampurna, her work is inspired by balance and the natural rhythms of life. We are constantly changing physically, mentally, emotionally, energetically, and in ways shaped by what we carry from before us. Each phase of life brings new experiences, challenges, and opportunities, inviting a deeper understanding of oneself.

Shikha’s work supports self-understanding by meeting each person where they are. Instead of a fixed method, she helps individuals build practices that are supportive, sustainable, and aligned with their unique needs. Some days bring energy; others call for rest. Like nature, we move in cycles. Honoring our energy helps us live with balance, ease and awareness.

She believes that the way we think shapes the way we experience life, and that meaningful change begins with this awareness. For Shikha, yoga is a journey of the self, to the self, and through the self.

How I Hold the Work - The Sampurna Way

1

I hold a space where nothing is rushed, corrected, or imposed.
We begin with listening, allowing what is present to be met with care and respect for your individual pace.

A space of presence

2

The process starts with a consultation and detailed intake to understand your needs, history and current experience, creating a clear and supportive foundation for the work.

A thoughtful beginning

3

Holistic Healing Method

Blending yoga therapy and Taoist principles, the work integrates body, breath, and awareness as a connected whole—physical, mental, emotional, and energetic.

4

Awareness and adaptation

Practices are not fixed, but shaped in response to your needs, your life, and your readiness. The work remains adaptive, meeting you where you are as it unfolds.

The work is not about fixing, it is about returning. Over time, a greater ease is cultivated in the body, clarity in the mind, and a steady connection to what is already whole.

5

A return to wholeness

A space to return to yourself

Sessions are therapeutic and contemplative, fostering balance, resilience, and self-connection. As a Kriyacharya and Dharma mentor, Shikha guides individuals in inquiry and inner exploration.

She also offers structured programs for workplaces, schools, and universities, providing practical tools to manage stress, build resilience, and cultivate clarity.

At the heart of her work is a simple understanding. We are both shaped by our choices and shaping ourselves through them.

दैयित्वं स्वीकुरुतु, स्वयमेव उन्नतं करोतु
Daayitvam svikarotu - Accept responsibility
Swayameva unnatah karotu- Lift yourself up by yourself.

Sampurna reflects the understanding that nothing is missing—there is a quiet completeness within each of us, realized through practice. With deep gratitude, Shikha shares this work openly, offering it to those who feel called.
