Softening the Need for Perfection

Nothing is perfect.
What do we call perfect, and how long does it last?
The idea of perfection often makes us rigid in our thinking and in our bodies. In yoga, we learn that nothing needs to be perfect to be whole.
The cracks we carry are not mistakes. They are spaces where holding softens and control loosens.
When we stop forcing and allow ourselves to be as we are, the breath begins to move freely through these tender places, bringing warmth, clarity, and life.
With patience and compassion, we learn to trust these openings. These openings are where we meet ourselves fully. They remind us that life flows through imperfection, and it is often through these tender spaces that we grow and heal.
