The Quiet Measure of Strength

Never judge someone’s struggle by your own strength.

Yoga teaches us the principle of ahimsa, which means non-violence in thought, word, and action. This includes the way we see and understand others on their path. Every practitioner steps onto the mat with a different body, a different story, and a unique blend of karmic and emotional experiences.

What feels effortless to one person may be an act of great courage for another.

In yoga, progress is not measured by flexibility or endurance. It is reflected in awareness, compassion, and steadiness of mind. When we stop comparing ourselves to others, we begin to honor the true essence of yoga, which is union. Strength can appear in many forms. True strength is not about how much we can do, but how gently we can hold space for ourselves and those around us.
