Sound to Silence

A space to explore different pathways into meditation and stillness.

Sound to Silence - A Journey Within

A weekly practice of meditation and stillness

Sound to Silence is an invitation to explore meditation as a journey of self-discovery. Through breath awareness, gentle movement, sound, bīja mantras, mindfulness, and stillness, we turn inward to explore how we experience ourselves and the world around us.

Drawing inspiration from the yogic understanding of Spanda, the subtle pulsation of life and consciousness, our practice explores the relationship between sound and silence, movement and stillness, doing and being. We learn to listen not only to the sounds around us, but also to the subtler movements of our own experience.

At the heart of this journey is Anubhav (अनुभव), meaning direct experience.

Anubhav invites us to move beyond what we know through words and concepts and discover what unfolds through our own experience.

Together, we create space to slow down, cultivate awareness, and explore the many dimensions of our inner world. There is nothing we need to achieve or force. Each practice offers an opportunity to listen, inquire, and meet ourselves with greater curiosity and compassion.

Whether you are new to meditation, returning to your practice, or wishing to deepen your journey, you are welcome.
